During its 11th birthday event, Global Furry Television (GFTV) announced “Project Starlight,” a new long-term initiative to expand its local furry meets and creative spaces into a “connected ecosystem”.

The project is a key part of GFTV’s roadmap to make its events “more regional, inclusive, and long-lasting.”

The goals of “Project Starlight” are centred on bridging gaps and fostering meaningful connections. The initiative aims to work “across different races, languages, and generations”, while collaborating with organisations focused on mental health, diversity, and community building.

GFTV plans to begin implementing “Project Starlight” in Singapore, carefully taking each step with partners who “share its vision”, said Events Director Augy.

The Singaporean furry news channel’s commitment is to test, learn, and grow together with its community to build a stronger and more inclusive future, Augy added.
