This week, American furcon Anthrocon has announced they will be hosting a citywide children’s art competition, in collaboration with the city of Pittsburgh.
According to the furcon, the event will only be open to active students living in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area, and participants are divided by age; Division A will be for any students up to the age of 12, whereas Division B will be for any students from age 13 to senior in high school. This extends to students who are homeschooled.
All entries must relate to the furcon’s theme this year, “Aesop’s Fables” and must contain “anthropomorphic” or animal characters in any form, regardless of interpretation. All submissions must be made by June 1, 2020, to Anthrocon.
Winners will be announced at the furcon itself, from July 2-5.
