Fur-YD, a team that organises special events within the Chinese furry fandom, held a “Furry Zoo Day” at China’s Ningbo Zoo on May 18, 2024.

The event aimed to raise awareness about animal welfare and environmental protection.

Over 60 fursuiters from Ningbo, Zhejiang, Shanghai, and other parts of China participated in the event.

‘We wanted to host this event to provide visitors with a more diverse and personalised experience in a younger and trendier way. At the same time, we want to call on everyone to love animals, protect the environment, and let people and animals find joy together in our zoo.’

Parading down the zoo’s premises, furries interacted with many people along the way. Organisers hope that, this way, people would not just enjoy being with the fursuiters, but also better understand furry culture.

福瑞亿点是中国兽圈内一家举办特色活动团队。他们于 2024 年 5 月 18 日在中国宁波野生动物园举办福瑞游园会，该活动旨在呼吁大家爱护动物和保护环境。

活动中有60多只兽装者参加，他们是来自宁波、浙江、上海和全国各地的兽迷。

兽装者们在动物园内游行，沿途与许多人互动。福瑞亿点举办方希望通过这种方式，人们不仅能享受与兽装者的互动，还能更好地了解兽文化。
