Blue Wendel (Interviewer): So Bozon, could you tell us what made you decide to hold a furry train event like this?

Bozon (Interviewee): The main reason is that I’ve always been fascinated by various furry events in Japan. I once stumbled upon a Japanese event called “Furball Express” (毛玉急行), which basically involved a bunch of furries taking a train ride together. I’m also quite fond of railway culture, so I started thinking about the possibility of holding a similar event in Taiwan, like Furball Express.

Finally, through everyone’s hard work, we succeeded, which I consider a pioneering feat because it’s Taiwan’s first furry event on a train. So, essentially, I drew inspiration from Japan’s Furball Express to develop this event.

Blue Wendel: As the event is successful, how do you feel now? How do you feel about everyone being able to fursuit on the train and then alighting to take pictures at stations?

Bozon: I feel it’s our fruit of labour. Although it’s not perfect, just being able to achieve this touches me. Besides the excitement and happiness, I also worry if there might be any mistakes or unexpected situations. So far, everything has gone very smoothly, so now I’m even feeling a sense of gratitude!

Blue Wendel: Do you plan to hold FurPE again next year?

Bozon: We need to do a thorough review before we can consider that. As for the possibility of holding a second or third edition in the future, that remains open for now.
