FurMIT 2024, Taiwan’s second furry convention of the year, concluded on 13 – 14 July 2024 with a successful turnout of 1,804 attendees and NT$506,950 (approximately S$20,907) raised for the Leopard Cat Association of Taiwan.
The event faced minor logistical challenges, primarily due to elevator congestion at the Cuncyue Hot Spring Resort. The hotel’s limited elevator capacity struggled to accommodate the large number of attendees.
Despite this, FurMIT 2024 showcased a range of activities, including 26 panels on diverse topics and fursuit-focused events like the “Red Carpet” fursuit catwalk, a fursuit group photo session on balconies with drones capturing the event, and the “FurStars” talent show.
Notable furry groups, particularly the fursuit dance groups Production Taiikukan and Wannabeast, were invited as guests of honour.
The closing ceremony announced that FurMIT will be rebranded as UTFG (Unforgettable Taiwan Furry Gathering) in 2025, adopting a school theme.

FurMIT 2024: 台湾东部的毛兽主题电影庆典
台湾今年的第二次兽展 FurMIT 2024 于 7 月 13 日至 14 日圆满落幕，成功吸引了 1,804 名参与者，并为台湾石虎保育协会筹集了 506,950 新台币（约合 20,907 新元）。
此次活动遇到了一些小型的后勤挑战，主要是由于村却国际温泉度假酒店的电梯拥堵问题。酒店有限的电梯容量难以满足大量与会者的需求。
尽管如此，FurMIT 2024 仍然举办了一系列精彩活动，包括 26 个主题多样的小组讨论，以及以兽装为中心的活动，如 “红地毯” 兽装走秀、无人机拍摄的阳台兽装合影，以及 “FurStars” 才艺表演。
值得一提的是，兽展还邀请了著名的兽迷团体，特别是兽装舞蹈团体 Production Taiikukan（通称为“体育馆”）和 Wannabeast 作为特别嘉宾。
闭幕式上宣布，FurMIT 将在 2025 年更名为 UTFG（Unforgettable Taiwan Furry Gathering，“难忘的台湾兽聚”），并采用学校主题。
