中文：FurUM 2024：参会人数、慈善捐款双双创新高

Furs Upon Malaysia (FurUM) concluded its 2024 event, marking a significant milestone in its history. Held at Hotel Armada Petaling Jaya, the furcon saw a record attendance of 1,268 attendees, making it the largest FurUM event to date.

FurUM 2024 also successfully raised 23,369 MYR (approximately S$7,097.10) for Katzen Cat Sanctuary, a local cat shelter, marking the largest charity donation in FurUM’s history.

This year’s FurUM featured a vibrant array of activities across multiple floors of the hotel.

Attendees enjoyed a diverse schedule that included the Dealers Den, meet & greets, various panels and fursuit activities, an arcade room with music arcade game machines, and energetic dance nights.

A key highlight of FurUM 2024 was the presence of notable guests.

American voice actor Sean Chiplock served as the guest of honour, with attendees having the opportunity to submit questions for him to answer during a special meet-and-greet session. He further spoke about his journey as a voice actor in an interview with GFTV.

Chinese fursuit dancer Gintan also held an autograph signing event at FurUM, adding to the excitement.

FurUM’s achievements this year fueled anticipation for its future and the growth of Southeast Asia’s furry community. FurUM’s chairman, CT Wolf, spoke about it in an interview with GFTV.
