Taiwan’s renowned furry performer, Seasnow (黑鹿季雪), has held the “The Path to Light (一鹿向光)” live music event Saturday (April 5), from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM, at Corner House (角落文创展演空间) in Taipei City.

Tickets went on sale Friday (March 7) at 6:00 PM via the KKTIX system.

This event featured not only musical performances but also dance, interactive segments, and raffles.

The event began with seven songs selected by Seasnow: “Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence”, “The Big Fish (大鱼)”, “Floating Light (浮光)”, “Lady of the Pier (码头姑娘)”, “South of the South Mountain (南山南)”, “Glow Stream (荧汐)”, and “Revolution.”

In an interview, Seasnow said he chose songs based on how well they fit when performed with the guzheng, a traditional Chinese string instrument.

“Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence” and “Floating Light” are “treasured songs” for Seasnow. He long wanted to perform them live with his guzheng.

“The Big Fish”, “Lady of the Pier”, and “South of the South Mountain” are more popular tracks. Seasnow worked with other musicians to heave a fresh perspective to these songs.

Two years ago, Seasnow wrote “Glow Stream” with Tokurinn (特林) for keyboard and strings, showcasing the guzheng’s tender and tumultuous sounds.

“Revolution” was a collaboration with electronic musician Ice to create a trendy fusion between traditional and modern sounds.

On top of guzheng performances, special guests Twin Trails (二足步行乐团) and dance group WannaBeast also met audience cheer.

Seasnow recounted telling the audience at the start of the event, “Don’t treat this as a concert; please treat it as a New Year’s Eve party!”

Initial event preparations were rushed. Venue issues, schedule clashes with a large invite-only furmeet, and a tight one-month window for ticket sales intensified the hustle.

Recounting this, Seasnow had low confidence in ticket sales at first. However, many registered and came to his event, greatly encouraging him.

Seasnow further expressed how much he loves performing and wishes to do it for a lifetime. Being a performer for 15 years, he realised how hard it is, and having one’s own stage is even harder.

He deeply thanked his friends who supported him, especially given that the traditional music market is declining in Taiwan.

On future events, Seasnow expects to announce further news in December and hold an event in March 2026. If there’s no news, he jokingly asked attendees to “pull his antlers” as a reminder.

This event fulfilled many of his wishes for the stage, Seasnow added. It gave much new ideas for his own reflection.

He hopes to meet everyone at next year’s event – not after he first gets a three-month vacation.

跨年晚会般的飨宴 季雪与观众们共同创造「一鹿向光」

台湾知名毛兽表演者黑鹿季雪将于周六（2025 年 4 月 5 日）晚上六点至九点半，于台北市的 Corner House 角落文创展演空间进行【一鹿向光】黑鹿季雪 2025 LIVE活动。

购票部分从周五（2025 年 3 月 7 日） 晚上六点开始，以KKTIX系统贩售参加票券。

本次活动除了有音乐表演外，也有舞蹈、互动环节与抽奖等节目。

活动首先演出的七首曲目，分别为《merry chrismas mr.lawrence》、《大鱼》、《浮光》、《码头姑娘》、《南山南》、《荧汐》、《revolution》，皆为季雪精心挑选。

季雪在受访时表示，他以用古筝演出可以好听又独特为选曲标准。

歌曲《Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence》、《浮光》是季雪心中的宝藏歌单，在好几年前就想过要以古筝及器乐做现场呈现。

《大鱼》、《码头姑娘》、《南山南》是比较流行的曲目，因此想以不同音乐人的合作带给观众新鲜感。两年前所写的原创作品《荧汐》透过与特林合作编曲成键盘以及弦乐合作，展现古筝柔情似水及汹涌澎湃的风格。

《Revolution》则是与电子音乐人Ice合作的歌曲，藉由跳脱传统乐器的音响效果，让大家看看一个这么古老的乐器，也可以带来新潮的音乐体验。

除了古筝演出外，特别来宾二足步行乐团与舞团伙伴WannaBeast的演出也受到现场观众喜爱。

这场活动是由各种小小愿望与自己喜欢的舞台组成的，像是演奏我喜欢的古筝音乐、与舞团伙伴WannaBeast带给大家充满活力的舞蹈、想要跟二足步行的团员们一起登台演出、想要跟柴虎把曲目《南山南》演出的更好、想要把我自己喜欢，而不是市场喜欢的歌曲带给大家等等的愿望。

季雪在受访时表示，他在活动一开场便说「不要把这里当成一个音乐会，请把这里当成一场跨年晚会哈哈哈哈哈！」

即使活动的准备期仓促，不仅因为场地日期问题导致活动延后，同时还与一个大型邀请制兽聚活动撞期，另外活动前一个月才开放售票，让他原本对于票房没有太多信心，但仍有许多人报名并且来现场欣赏他的表演，让他感受到很大的鼓励。

对于活动感想，季雪也表示他好喜欢表演，希望能做一辈子的表演。

身为表演者历经15年，他发现这件事情很辛苦，能有一个自己的舞台更是不容易的梦想，因此在台湾传统音乐市场萎靡的现在，有一群朋友愿意支持他去演奏自己喜欢的音乐，季雪对此深深地感谢。

至于未来是否会再举办活动，季雪表示预计12月会公布相关消息，并且于隔年三月举办，若是没有公布请拔他的鹿角提醒他。

不过他也提到本次活动让他满足了很多对舞台的愿望与思考，并且产生许多的新想法，因此会花上一些时间来沉淀、思考未来能提供给观众们什么东西，也希望明年活动能够在活动上跟大家相见，但在之前需要先放他自己三个月的假期。
