Taiwanese furry digital creator Gunryu (军龙) held a stage performance furmeet on October 10 at the Merry Day Hotel in New Taipei City, drawing 122 registered attendees.
The event featured several well-known performers from Taiwan’s furry community, including Seasnow (季雪), Tea Tannins (茶氏单宁), Saiki Buck (八熊), and ShibaTR (柴虎). Activities included a raffle, cocktail service, and limited-edition souvenirs, creating a varied social and entertainment setting.
According to Gunryu, the event coincides with the first birthday of his fursona, “Shenwei” (神威), which is also one day after his own birthday.
“In the past, I’ve usually hosted gatherings for my birthday,” he said. “This year, I wanted to present it in the form of a performance event and include more stage acts in the celebration.”
Gunryu, also the event organiser, said he regularly held birthday events at the Merry Day Hotel because of its familiar setting and convenient location.
Unlike previous private events, this year focused on furry culture. Performers from the Taiwanese furry community were invited to take the stage and host various segments.
“I’m more experienced in event planning and coordination,” said Gunryu. “So I left the performances for the professionals who can do it.”
A highlight of the night was the launch of a signature cocktail named after the organiser, “the Gunryu Special.”
He also thanked the event’s sponsors, including adult products brand Redino and furry merch designer Scott Visnjic’s (史考特) “Chengguang Studio” (成光工作室), for contributing prizes and support that enriched the event.
Reflecting on the turnout, Gunryu shared his gratitude. “During the early-bird signup period, fewer than 50 people signed up. I didn’t expect the final count to exceed 100. I’m thankful for everyone’s trust and support.”
As for future plans, he added that whether a second edition will be held remains under consideration. “If there’s a next one, the format and theme may change to keep things fresh.”

军龙神威周年表演会登场 逾百位兽迷齐聚庆生
来自台湾的毛毛数位创作者军龙（Gunryu）于10月10日，在新台北市的美丽殿精品旅馆举办《2025军龙神威周年表演会》，吸引122位兽迷报名参加。
活动邀请多位台湾兽文化圈知名表演者登台，包括季雪， 茶氏单宁，八熊和柴虎等人，并设有抽奖、调酒与独家纪念品，营造出娱乐与交流的多元派对氛围。
主办人军龙表示，活动契机源于其兽设角色「神威」诞生一周年，另外前一天则是个人生日。
他表示:「以往生日我都办聚会，今年想以表演会形式呈现，尝试增加更多比例的表演在生日派对中。」
谈及场地选择，军龙指出，美丽殿精品旅馆是他往年举办生日活动的常选场地，环境熟悉且交通便利，本次也安排兽装扮演者更换与休息空间，提升参加者的舒适度。
不同于以往私人性质的聚会，这次表演会首次以兽文化为主轴设计，邀请多位知名兽迷表演者在节目中演出及主持。
「我较擅长活动规划与统筹，表演就交给专业者更安心。」军龙说。
现场也特别推出以自身为名的特制调酒「军龙特调」，成为活动亮点之一。
军龙也感谢三王合作的品牌红犀牛（Redino）与史考特（Scott Visnjic）的成光工作室赞助多样奖项，让活动内容更加丰富。
谈到支持者，军龙语带感激：「在早鸟期间原本人数不到50人，没想到后续报名人数突破百人，感谢大家对我的信任与肯定。」
他表示，未来是否举办下一届仍待评估，「若有下一场，形式与主题也许会更换，来增加派对的趣味性。」
