Themed “Furtopia”, Taiwanese furcon Infurnity has held a three-day event at the Fullon Hotel Taichung, from Oct 31 to Nov 2, 2025.

This year’s event is special, as it is Infurnity’s 10th year running. Some space were set aside for the 3,251-strong attendee pool to learn about the furcon’s history.

To complement the furcon’s theme this year, Taiwanese furry musician Roan composed “Furtopia”.

For this composition, he invited furries to contribute voice recordings, with which he debuted a music video on stage.

First, a musical kickstarted the furcon. It tells the story of two characters, Emily (played by Kate) and Nana (played by Yuqing, @Yipoint051), going on a trip to Furtopia, a city inhabited by furries.

Giving a big nod to the 2016 hit film Zootopia, the musical carried forward to attendees the iconic quote “where everyone can be anything”.

Throughout the event, attendees may complete specific tasks and collect points to redeem limited-edition souvenirs such as stickers.

This is part of a themed game designed by the furcon. Attendees may visit five designated checkpoints within the event space to participate.

Special guests Nagabe and Uncle Kage each held their own panel sessions. Respectively, they shared their own experiences in art and event organising.

Speaking to FurTimes, Infurnity’s organiser J.C. said the incoming sequel Zootopia 2 inspired this year’s theme to be “Furtopia”.

Just as Zootopia was created by anthropomorphic animals – Furtopia was created by furries, J.C. described.

Infurnity has held furry events in Taiwan since 2015. On its first iteration, it was just a one-day furmeet.

This year, 2025, is the furcon’s 10th year running.

Since its first event, organiser J.C. highlighted three key checkpoints for the furcon:

  • 2017: Infurnity holds in a hotel for the first time.
  • 2020 – 2021: The COVID-19 pandemic held back Infurnity’s in-person events, which were replaced by two online events.
    • This prompted the team to rethink how the event can be executed.
  • As of recent: Infurnity adopted an open mindset to collaborate with teams outside the furry fandom.
    • In 2024, the furcon partnered with a LARP (Live action roleplay) team, allowing non-furries interested in furry culture to interact with other attendees.

In 2023 – according to GFTV FURST – Infurnity was the biggest furcon in Asia for the year.

For this year’s charity raffle, there were 36 prizes. The charity proceeds amounted to NT$961,500 (around S$39,845.58), a new record for Infurnity.

The theme for Infurnity 2026 was also revealed. It is titled “The Last of Furs“, which revolves around a post-apocalyptic storyline.

Organiser J.C. spoke further to FurTimes, pointing out that Infurnity has turned 10 years old. In these 10 years, the staff accumulated much experience, which shaped the furcon today.

The furcon looks forward to new furries bringing fresh views to shape Infurnity further, added J.C..

2025 兽无限「万兽方城市」 邀请兽迷们感受“动物城”之美

台湾兽展兽无限（Infurnity）于 10 月 31 至 11 月 2 号，于台中丽宝福容大饭店，以主题「万兽方城市」进行为期三天的活动。

活动配合主题推出相关活动，并邀请特别来宾“卡奇叔叔”（Uncle Kage）与 ながべ（Nagabe）。

同时，因活动适逢举办满十周年，因此在活动大厅内陈设回顾展，让共计 3,251 位参加者们能享受主办所精心规划的活动内容。

本次活动配合主题，兽迷罗恩为其写出主题曲〈Furtopia〉，并邀请参加者参与活动前的录音投稿，在活动开幕式上也进行播出。

同时更配合本届主题进行了开幕式演出，由主角艾蜜莉（由 Kate 扮演）、娜娜（由雨晴扮演）两位人类演员，以及诸多毛毛们在舞台上进行歌舞剧演出。

表演形象地讲述其到“万兽方城市”拜访与传达「我们天生都是独一无二的 、拥有无限可能」的理念。

本次活动集点以分布在活动饭店内的五处任务据点，让参加者可以参与万兽市内的任务并集点，以换取本次限定的垃圾桶、贴纸等纪念品。

本次官方讲座由特别来宾“卡奇叔叔”与ながべ（Nagabe）两位进行特别讲座。

作为美国兽展 Anthrocon 的主办，“卡奇叔叔”分享了其主办活动的心得，而ながべ（Nagabe）则是在现场分享其绘图的心路历程以及现场作画示范等。

除了官方活动外，本次也有许多参加者所主持的讲座，将其自身经验分享与参加者，也让许多参加者仔细在台下聆听或参与活动。

至于本届主题为「万兽方城市」的主题设计理念，主办 J.C. 向兽时报在受访时表示，灵感是来自于将上映的电影《动物方城市 2》。

该部电影的故事内容设定在一个由兽人建构的城市，而兽无限的活动内容也是由兽迷同好们一起建构。

这两者的内涵是一样的，所以主办方希望透过这个主题，呈现由同好们去建构出这个活动的氛围。

兽无限自 2015 年起在台湾举办兽聚，首届活动当时仅是为期一天的聚会。今年是该兽展的第十届。

据 J.C. 介绍，过程后续的转涙点有三个：

  • 第一个是2017年首次在饭店举办；
  • 其次是2019 新冠肺炎疫情（COVID-19）导致取消实体活动改为两届的线上活动，让团队去重新思考活动内容可以用什么方式呈现；
  • 第三点是近期改用更开放的心态去跟一些非兽文化的团队合作，例如 2024 的主题就与 LARP 团队合作，让非兽迷但对兽文化有兴趣的参加者可以去互相交流。

根据国际兽视兽展情况列表（GFTV FURST）的数据，截至2023年，兽无限是当年亚洲最大的兽展。
